PH Embassy in Ottawa, POLO Shares Experience in Regulating Recruitment

A delegation from the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa and the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Vancouver and Toronto, led by Deputy Chief of Mission Francisco Noel Fernandez III, participates in the Global Conference on the Regulation of International Recruitment organized by the International Organization for Migration in Montreal from 6 to 7 June 2019.

 The Conference was a briefing on the safety nets created by the Philippine government through the four phases of the migration cycle involving Filipinos seeking overseas employment covering pre-deployment, protection of nationals in situ, engagement with the Filipino diaspora, and reintegration of returning Filipinos.
