PH Consulate General in Milan Co-organizes Drug Awareness Seminar in Modena
PHOTO: The Philippine Consulate General in Milan and the Comune of Modena jointly organized a drug awareness seminar, “Droga, L’Effetto Che Fa” (The Effects of Drugs) on 06 April 2019 at the Sala Palazzina Pucci in Modena, Italy, with the support of the Filipino community led by the Federazione delle Associazione Filippine di Modena (FEDAFILMO).
This is the second drug awareness seminar that the Consulate General co-organized with local governments, following its successful launch in Milan last year in collaboration with Vice Mayor Anna Scavuzzo.
Around 80 representatives of the Filipino community, including the youth, from Modena and the Emilia Romagna region attended the seminar.
The seminar featured four resource speakers who discussed, among others, the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol, driving and the use of psychotropic drugs, legal consequences of drug use, and services to support drug dependents and their families.
