ASEAN Committee in Abu Dhabi Meets New UAE Foreign Affairs Director for East Asia

PHOTO: Philippine Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Hjayceelyn M. Quintana chaired and hosted the regular meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Abu Dhabi (ACAD) on 25 June 2019 with the new UAE Foreign Affairs Director for East Asia and Pacific Affairs Ahmed Al Hameli as special guest.

Director Al Hameli assured the Group of the support of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MOFAIC) in all their undertakings.

The meeting was held at the Official Residence of the Philippine Ambassador. The Philippines is the ACAD Chairperson of ACAD from January to June 2019. During the meeting, the ACAD Chairmanship was handed over from the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi to the Embassy of Indonesia.
