PH Ambassador, AFP Officials Meet UAE State Defense Minister
PHOTO: Philippine Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Hjayceelyn M. Quintana met with UAE’s State Defense Minister Mohammed bin Ahmad Al Bowardi on June 26 at the UAE Ministry of Defence Building.
The two officials discussed ways on how to enhance bilateral relations between the Philippines and the UAE, especially defense cooperation. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments.
Ambassador Quintana was accompanied by a visiting delegation from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), composed of Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP) Foreign Intelligence Force Group Commander Colonel Ranulfo Sevilla, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence Executive Officer Colonel John Sebastian Fuerte, Counter Intelligence Division Chief Colonel Allan L. Taguba, and AFP Office of Fiscal Management Chief Personnel and Administrative Division’s Lieutenant Colonel Joshua R. Leones.
Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi Second Secretary and Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil and Attaché Meradel April Reyes-Auman also joined the group.
