HONOLULU 05 July 2019 — Seven Filipino fellows are attending the Comprehensive Security Responses to Terrorism Course (CSRT 19-1) at the Daniel K. Inouye-Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKI-APCSS) on 04 June - 03 July 2019.
The fellows--composed of Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of the Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Concerns Special Assistant Atty. Roy Ecraela, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency director Candido Bontogon, Jr., Philippine Army Colonel Shalimar Imperial, Philippine Army Lieutenant Colonel Rey Rico, Philippine National Police Majors Juanito Dizon, Jr. and Eric Ortega, and Philippine Coast Guard Lieutenant Commander Erwin Tolentino--called on Consul General to Honolulu Joselito A. Jimeno on 19 June 2019
The CSRT course focuses on the concept of modern terrorism, its patterns in the Asia-Pacific, causes and strategies of various groups, prevention, and response. The course enables participants to share their experiences and to build relationships that would enhance the region’s capability to fight terrorism. END
