WARSAW 05 July 2019 — The Philippine Embassy in Poland, led by Ambassador-designate Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz, cordially welcomed students and teachers from Przedszkole A. Einsteina of Nowy Dwor Mazowiecki and Przedszkole Nutka Milutka of Michalow Grabina at the Chancery as part of the Philippine Embassy Tour 2019 on 21 June 2019.

Deputy Chief of Mission Mardomel Celo Melicor gave an orientation on how to count numbers from 01 to 10 in Filipino, different Filipino snacks, and showed a video of Filipino’s outstanding talents.

Consul Alena Grace Borra provided information on visa procedures to Poles and services offered to both Filipino and Poles by the Embassy. Students received a stamp of the Embassy’s logo in their global citizen passports at the Consular section.

The Embassy tour’s activities comprised of dance performance from the member of the Filipino community, playing of a Filipino traditional games of karera sa sako, Filipino dishes such as pansit and lumpiang shanghai, and showing of Philippines’ tourism videos. The handing out of certificates and Embassy’s giveaways concluded the event. END
