20 March 2014 – Ambassador Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz paid a courtesy call on H.E. Arthur Nazarian, the new Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Lebanon last March 10, to offer him the Philippines’ felicitations and best wishes on his appointment as cabinet minister, and also to brief him on the status of Philippines-Lebanon relations.

Ambassador Ruiz expressed optimism for Lebanon’s continued peace, progress and stability, while Minister Nazarian conveyed his support for the Embassy’s on-going initiatives and activities to enhance cooperation in all aspects of the relationship. END
