Retired Honorary Consul in Germany Recognized by PH Government

BERLIN 10 July 2019 — Ambassador to Germany Theresa Dizon-de Vega, with Philippine Embassy in Berlin’s officers and staff, handed over a Letter of Appreciation from Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr., and a Certificate of Appreciation and a token from the Embassy to newly-retired Philippine Honorary Consul Hartmut Fromm at a ceremony on 08 July 2019 at the Embassy.
Mr. Fromm was Honorary Consul in Dresden, with consular jurisdiction over the states of Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia until May 2019. The ceremony was held in recognition of the many years of Mr. Fromm’s dedicated service and his passion and interest in promoting closer Philippine-German relations.
Appointed Honorary Consul in 2011, Mr. Fromm is one of the partners of the well-known German Corporate law firm Buse Heberer Fromm. He is also a published expert in the fields of law and business. The newly-retired Honorary Consul is a patron of the arts and culture, an active sponsor of Berlin’s three opera houses and the Kaiser-Friedrich-Museum. END
