PH Consulate General in Jeddah Assures Support to Filipino-Muslim Pilgrims for Hajj Season

JEDDAH 19 July 2019 – Consul General to Jeddah Edgar B. Badajos has assured the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah’s support to the Filipino-Muslim pilgrims to this year’s Hajj during the pilgrimage season.

Consul General Badajos made the assurance during a meeting with the advance party of the 2019 Hajj Supervisory and Medical Team of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) on 09 July 2019 at the Consulate General's Conference Room.

According to the team, some 7,000 Filipino-Muslims will be joining this year’s Hajj, which figure is 700 more compared to last year’s figure.

Consul General Badajos informed the team that the Consulate General has created a Task Force to assist the pilgrims during their stay in Saudi Arabia. END
