PH Embassy in Ottawa Hosts Farewell Luncheon for Assistant Deputy Minister Donald Bobiash

Philippine Ambassador to Canada Petronila P. Garcia hosted a farewell luncheon for outgoing Global Affairs Canada Assistant Deputy Minister Donald Bobiash on 15 July 2019, at the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa’s Mindanao Hall. Joining the luncheon were the Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and other representatives of the Asia Pacific diplomatic missions in Ottawa, Global Affairs Canada Assistant Deputy Minister Paul Thoppil, and other members of the Embassy of the Philippines in Canada.

Ambassador Garcia, who serves as Dean of the Asia Pacific Ambassadors in Ottawa, also took the opportunity to welcome Paul Thoppil who is taking over the Asia and Pacific portfolio from Dr. Bobiash.
