PH Embassy in the Hague Celebrates Philippine Independence with the Filipino Community

The Hague 25 July 2019 — The Philippine Embassy in The Hague, led by Ambassador to the Netherlands Jaime Victor B. Ledda, together with the Filipino community in The Netherlands celebrated the 121st Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence in Zuiderpark last 06 July 2019.
Jointly organized by Filipino Migrants in Solidarity, Jesus is Lord Den Haag, Ateneo Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship, MABIKAs Foundation, Media Corespondent and Volunteers Organizations and Migrante Netherlands, Den Haag, the event featured the winners of the essay writing, logo design, on-the-spot drawing contests and a fashion show on the theme “Kapayapaan, Kaunlaran ng Bayan.”
In his remarks, Ambassador Ledda thanked the members of the Filipino community, including the Filipino-Dutch who reacquired their Filipino citizens and voted during the overseas elections last May, for their support to all the events of the Embassy.
He also assured the Filipino community members that the Embassy will always help them in all possible ways, as the Embassy continues to look forward for their support in the promotion of Philippines-Netherlands economic and socio- cultural relations. END
