PH Consulate General in Macau Co-Sponsors Impact Investing Seminar

PHOTO: A total of 80 members of the Filipino community attended the “Impact Investing: Investing with a Heart Seminar” co-sponsored by the Philippine Consulate General in Macau held here on 13 July 2019.

Facilitating the program is Social Enterprise Development Partnerships, Inc. (SEDPI) president and chief executive officer and Ateneo School of Government-Microfinance Capacity Building Program manager Mariel Vincent A. Rapisura.  He underscored that investors need not to focus on financial gains alone but also aspire to be social entrepreneurs where they will develop, fund and implement solutions to social, cultural, or environmental issues.

Other sponsors were the Office of the Philippine Labor Attaché, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, the Ateneo Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship (ALSE) of Life, the Ateneo Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship (ALSE) Macau Alumni, WelAnser Centre and Fundação Macau.
