PH Featured in Argentine Travel TV

BUENOS AIRES 30 July 2019 — The Philippines was featured in three episodes of a popular Argentine TV show. 

Popular Argentine Travel TV show Resto Del Mundo, which is currently available in eighteen Latin American countries, featured the Philippines in three 40-minute episodes. The first episode was aired on 22 June 2019 through Channel 13.

The show featured  locations in Intramuros and China Town in Manila, the business district in Makati City and shopping centres in the Global City in Taguig. The host of the show was able to interview Argentine business personalities living in Manila, including, La Cabrera’s executive chef Agustin Figueroa and LM10’s owner and celebrity Nicolas Bolzico with wife Solenn Heussaff.

For the second and third episodes, the show featured the beautiful islands of Boracay and Taytay, Palawan. Both episodes showcased the breathtaking beaches and sceneries, local cuisine, handcrafts and wonderful people of said islands.

The coverage was made possible through the assistance of the Philippine Tourism Office in Los Angeles and the Tourism Promotion Board (TPB) who assisted the host and the rest of the TV crew during their 2-week stay in the Philippines.

Because of the wide viewership of the program, the Philippine Embassy in Buenos Aires is confident that the episodes was able to introduce the country as a top tourism destination in Asia. The three episodes are currently available in Vimeo and may be viewed thru the following links:
