PH Ambassador to Lebanon Discusses Industry, History, Tourism, and Women on Lebanese TV

PHOTO: Ambassador to Lebanon Bernardita L. Catalla was interviewed for Lebanese TV Show “Travels with Ambassadors” aired by Mariam TV on 15 July 2019, where she discussed Philippine history, tourism, industry, economics, and the role of Filipino women.

Ambassador Catalla discussed general information about the Philippines, main tourist attractions, history from precolonial times to the present, and current economic conditions. She also took the opportunity to highlight the role of women in Philippine society and discussed notable women in politics, as well as women in the Department of Foreign Affairs.

The interview is part of the vigorous efforts to promote the Philippines in Lebanon by the Philippine Embassy in Beirut.
