PH Embassy in the Hague Hosts Hague Academy Students, Promotes Dev’t Law

Rea Abad Chiongson of the International Development Law Organization (middle) welcomed to the Philippine Embassy in The Hague four Filipinos students who were attending the Hague Academy of International Law summer course on Public International Law from 8 to 26 July 2019.

The Filipino students were joined by three others from Canada, Spain and Chinese Taipei.

Ambassador Ledda gave a briefing on the Embassy’s function and activities, including its involvement in some work in the area of public international law and settlement of international disputes.

International Development Law Organization (IDLO) Senior Legal Advisor on Gender Atty. Rea Abad Chiongson was invited to give a presentation focusing on the work of IDLO and the role of law in development.
