New Official PH Embassy in Amman Phone System Features Original Filipino Composition

AMMAN 08 August 2019 – Those calling the Philippine Embassy in Amman’s lines will now be serenaded by an original composition while waiting for someone to take their calls. 

On 25 July 2019, the Embassy launched its new official upgraded Internet Phone (IP) service featuring, for the first time, an original harp composition of Filipino artist Bianca Cruz, whose work is set to be performed during the 2019 Gala Showcase in Singapore on 07 September 2019. 

Ms. Cruz won the Category 3 Audience Choice Award of the HarpFest Competition for her composition “After the Storm”, a compelling and spirited rendition, which the Embassy will use in its IP call waiting service. 

In support to young and inspiring Filipino artists, the Embassy aims to present original Filipino artistic works in public engagements and frontline services as part of its public diplomacy agenda. END
