HONOLULU 09 August 2019 - The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) delegation to the Philippine-United States Command and Control Interoperability Board (CCIB) 19-2 Meeting called on Consul General Joselito A. Jimeno at the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu on 29 July 2019. 

The AFP delegation was led by Colonel Alejandro J. Papa and included Colonels Walter P. Icaro, Jose A. Benavidez, Milton Y. Beset and Mark Edwin B. Moro from the Philippine Army,   Lieutantant Commanders Rey B. Bitalac and Reynan Carrido, Major Kristine Salon, Lieutanant Janice Cebrian, and  Commander Salvador Sambalilo from the Philippine Navy, Lieutenant Colonel Jerick Dollente from the Philippine Air Force, Police Colonel Daniel C. Mayoni from the Philippine National Police, and Commander Geronimo B. Tuvilla from the Philippine Coast Guard.

Also present at the call were Deputy Consul General Angelica C. Escalona, AFP Liaison Officer to the US Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) Colonel Joseph P. Archog and Assistant AFP Liaison Officer Lieutenant Colonel Vince James DG Bantilan.

The CCIB 19-2 Meeting ran from 29 July to 2 August 2019 at the Headquarters Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor The CCIB is a technical bilateral cooperation group established under the Mutual Defense Board-Security Engagement Board (MDB-SEB) to promote communications interoperability in operations as well as joint exercises.
