PH Embassy in Rome Conducts Consular Outreach Mission in Sardinia Island

ROME 19 August 2019 — As part of its mandate to provide consular services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, the Philippine Embassy in Rome conducted a consular outreach mission on 27 to 29 July at Cagliari City in Sardinia Island.
The consular outreach mission rendered a total of 421 services, including 298 passport applications, 24 civil registry applications, 18 Affidavits and nine certifications. Two Filipinos took their Oath of Allegiance for the reacquisition of Philippine citizenship.
Also present were Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), which rendered services for 70 clients.
As part of the consular outreach mission and assistance to nationals program, an Embassy personnel visited a Filipino detainee on its second day.
About 1,800 Filipinos are approximately residing in Cagliari. END
