PH Consul General in Vancouver Meets Canadian Chamber of Commerce President

PHOTO: Consul General to Vancouver Maria Andrelita S. Austria (left) received Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (CanCham) President Julian Payne at her office on 17 July 2019. Mr. Payne shared with her CanCham’s remaining plans and programs for 2019, which includes a Trade Mission to Toronto and Ottawa later in the year.

Mr. Payne had earlier met with the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada to explore collaboration on a research study on Philippine-Canada trade relations that would assess opportunities for maximizing Philippine exports to Canada.

From Vancouver, Mr. Payne will travel to Ottawa to meet with Accreditation Canada regarding the acceptance of the accredited Philippine hospitals by the Canadian provincial health insurance agencies as well as further assessment of other Philippine hospitals for accreditation.
