PH Deputy Consul General in Los Angeles Joins Boholanos in their 18th Biennial Convention

LOS ANGELES 15 August 2019 – Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles Deputy Consul General Ambrosio Brian F. Enciso III was the guest of honor during the Gala Night of the 18th Biennial Convention of the Confederation of Boholanos in the U.S.A. and Canada (CONBUSAC), held at the Knotts Berry Farm Hotel, Buena Park on 19 July 2019.
In his remarks, the Deputy Consul General Enciso commended in his remarks the Confederation for providing a platform for the different Boholano organizations in the United States and Canada to get together to celebrate Boholano heritage and plan for the organization’s future, including helping their less privileged kababayans in the province of Bohol.
He encouraged the organization’s members and officers to involve the Filipino-American youth in their programs and activities to ensure the future of CONBUSAC.
CONBUSAC is the umbrella organization of different member Boholano Organizations in North America. The CONBUSAC Convention, which is the biggest gathering of Boholano organizations in North America, was established in 1987 in Los Angeles, California and is held biennially in different hosting cities in the U.S. and Canada.
