PARIS 28 August 2019 — Seven Filipino children completed the five-learning sessions of Paaralan sa Embahada organized by the Philippine Embassy in Paris and the Hiligaynon Association in France.
The graduation ceremony was held on 27 July 2019 at the newly-renovated Embassy Consular Section. This batch’s graduates, aged six to 11 years old, consistently attended the learning sessions every Saturday morning.
“For this batch, the learning sessions catered to younger children so they could learn more about the Philippines at an earlier age. We look forward to conducting the next batch with an improved syllabus to encourage more Filipino children to participate in this project,” Philippine Ambassador to France Ma. Theresa Lazaro said during the awarding of the certificates.
This year’s summer class, Paaralan sa Embahada, is the third batch of Philippine history and culture classes for Filipino-French youth. The first and second batches were organized for teens and Filipino youths aged 13 to 19 years. END
