First Filipino Bread and Pastry Shop Opens in The Hague

THE HAGUE 28 August 2019 – Filipino pan de sal is now being baked in The Hague.
Café Nordrick, the first Filipino bread and pastry shop in The hague, has officially opened its doors on 07 July 2019.
Ambassador to The Netherlands Jaime Victor V. Ledda attended the café’s blessing and opening , which also serves Filipino baked items such as ensaymada, puto and kutsinta, kapeng barako, among others.
Café Nordrick is owned and operated by long-time The Hague residents, Filipino restauranteur-couple Danton and Norma Lacorum.
Mrs. Lacorum hopes to introduce on its menu other popular Filipino delicacies in their Café when it expands in the coming week, and to give interest to both Filipinos and Dutch, including expatriates who enjoy Filipino food. END
