New PH Consul General in HK Leads First Flag-Raising Ceremony at Consulate General

HONG KONG 28 August 2019 – Newly-arrived Consul General to Hong Kong Raly L. Tejada led the flag-raising ceremony with officers and staff of the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong together with passport applicants and other clients at the Consulate General’s public area on 27 August 2019.

In his short address, Consul General Tejada reaffirmed the Consulate General’s commitment to uphold and protect the rights and welfare of Filipinos in Hong Kong, and its resolve to improve the delivery of consular and other services to the public. 

Prior to his arrival in Hong Kong, the Consul General was assigned as Deputy Chief of Mission at the Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. He assumed as Head of Post in Hong Kong on 14 August 2019. END
