PH Ambassador visits St. Lorenzo Ruiz Chapel in Sør-Varanger

 Philippine Ambassador to Norway Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia visits the St. Lorenzo Ruiz Chapel at Kirkenes, Finnmark and met with Father Dariusz Banasiak on 26 June 2019 to discuss the establishment of the St. Lorenzo Ruiz Chapel in one of the northernmost parts of Norway.

Named after San Lorenzo Ruiz, the first Filipino Saint venerated by the Roman Catholic Church, the St. Lorenzo Ruiz Chapel in Sør-Varanger, is considered one of the active churches in Finnmark. (Oslo PE photo)
