PH Ambassador to Thailand Attends 2019 ASEAN Day Celebration
Thai Minister of Culture Itthiphol Kunplome delivers his message at the Opening Ceremony of the celebration of 2019 ASEAN DAY under the theme, “ASEAN: Street Food: Coconut, Essence of ASEAN Food”, held on 8 August 2019 at the ASEAN Cultural Center in Bangkok. The event ran for three days from 8 to 10 August 2019.

Ambassador Bernardo-Aragon, in pink Filipiniana jusi barong, joins the Minister Kunplome and other officials from the Thai Ministry of Culture and ASEAN Embassies for a group picture with the ten performers of VIVA ASEAN, each holds a banner with a picture of a popular spot of each country. The performer representing the Philippines wore a traditional barong (fourth from right) and held a banner with Paoay Church as the symbol of the country.
Minister Kunplome and Ambassador Bernardo-Aragon enjoy the signature Philippine local dishes “Bicol Express” and “Adovong Manok sa Gata”, which were served at the Embassy booth.
