PH Consulate General in Los Angeles Holds Consular Outreach Mission in Palm Springs
LOS ANGELES 29 August 2019 – As part of its mandate to provide consular services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles held its annual consular outreach mission in Palm Springs, Riverside County from 03 to 04 August 2019.
The mission spearheaded by Consul Rea G. Oreta and organized in partnership with the National Alliance of Filipino-Americans, Inc. (NAFA) under the leadership of Mila Aguinaldo, provided a total of 91 consular services to overseas Filipinos which includes 56 passport applications, one passport extension, 15 dual citizenship, three derivatives, 11 legalization of documents, and five civil registry.
Consul Oreta was accompanied by Linda Cadiang, Maria Dolor Sales, Alexander Nelson B. Maestrado, Jay Perez, Ellenor J. Tolentino and Salvador P. Marzo.
The Consulate General conducts consular outreach mission in Palm Springs once a year to bring consular services closer to some 10,900 Filipinos and Filipino-Americans in Palm Springs and nearby cities. This is the Consulate General’s eighth outreach mission for 2019. END
