Since 1995, CARD MRI has been working as technical consultant for Vietnam Women’s Union for poverty eradication through microfinance, microinsurance, and microenterprise development. It has now expanded to other Vietnamese partners, namely Tinh Thuong Microfinance Institution, Fund for Poor Women, Microinsurance Fund, Vietnam Women’s Academy, and Microfinance Training Center. CARD MRI's founder Dr. Jaime Aristotle Alip has already received two prestigious awards - Ramon Magsaysay Award 2008 for Public Service and Ramon V.
