PH Consul General in Chicago Receives PH Officials, Business Executives

CHICAGO 15 August 2019 – Top officials of the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) and the Social Security System (SSS), as well as the executives from top Philippine enterprises, called on Consul General to Chicago Gina A. Jamoralin at the Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago on 08 to 09 August 2019.

PRA General Manager and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Atty. Bienvenido K. Chy and SSS President and CEO Aurora C. Ignacio headed their respective delegations to Chicago as key partners of the Consulate General in the first Philippine Retirement Summit in the U.S. Midwest.

General Manager Chy and CEO Ignacio expressed appreciation for the Consulate General’s initiative, noting that this is the first event of its kind that brings retirement, pension fund and housing authorities and real estate and allied companies together.

SSS, through Foreign Representative II Marites C. Marin, provided on-site services to numerous clients at the Consulate General during those days.

Consul General Jamoralin also received Philippine business delegations that served as partners in the Retirement Summit, including One Ayala, BPI and Megaworld.

During the calls with said businesses, Consul General Jamoralin thanked the companies for the partnership in the summit and looked forward to collaborating further to promote Philippine retirement, real estate, banking and other allied industries. END
