Sentro Rizal Jakarta Celebrates Buwan ng Wika with Polyglot Indonesia

PHOTO: In celebration of the Philippines’ Buwan ng Wika (Language Month), Sentro Rizal Jakarta partnered with Polyglot Indonesia-Jakarta Chapter in promoting Philippine culture and language on 18 August 2019 in Jakarta.

The event was attended by 50 culture and language enthusiasts of Polyglot. Embassy’s Cultural Officer and Attaché Buenaflor Cruz presented basic information on Philippine culture and introduced Filipino words such as numbers, the alphabet, and a few vocabulary words. The Philippine National Commission on Culture and the Arts (NCCA) provided some of the materials used in the presentation such as Alpabetong Filipino, Edsa and A for Adobo.
