PH Contingent Joins 2019 Paris-Brest-Paris Quadrennial Ride
The Audax Randonneurs Philippines, compose of around 60 cyclists, represented the Philippines in the Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP) Ride that started at Rambouillet, France held from 18 to 22 August 2019.
The PBP is a long distance cycling event organized by the Audax Club Parisien. It is just one of only three remaining classic cycling events in the world and is held every four years. This race covers 1,200 kilometers from Paris to Brest and back to Paris, wherein the participants have to finish it within 80-90 hours ride. This year’s event is expected to be participated in by as much as 6,500 cyclists from all over the world. (Paris PE photo)
