ATHENS 26 July 2019 — The art works of Philippine-born and San Francisco-based artist Marconi Calindas were featured in the exhibition, “Art: Key to Conflict Resolution,” on 17-31 July 2019, at the Serafio Space in Athens.

Also on display in the exhibition are works of 22 international artists, including South African leader Nelson Mandela’s “Struggle Series” lithograph.

The artists are featured in the book “Can Art Aid in Resolving Conflict?” which was launched before the opening of the exhibit with a panel discussion held at the nearby Benaki Museum Auditorium.

The book is authored by University of Pennsylvania-Wharton School’s Lauder Professor Emeritus of Marketing Dr. Jerry Wind, and Sammy Ofer School of Communications dean and Daniel Pearl International Journalism Institute chair Dr. Noam Latar. END
