PH Embassy Joins 52nd ASEAN Day in Bahrain

MANAMA 12 September 2019 – The Philippine Embassy in Manama, led by Ambassador Alfonso A. Ver, joined the Embassies of Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Brunei in marking the 52nd Anniversary of ASEAN in Bahrain with a special ceremony at the Indonesian Ambassador’s Residence on 02 September 2019.
The event was marked with the raising of the ASEAN Flag and singing of the ASEAN Anthem, followed by remarks from distinguished guests who highlighted the positive relations of ASEAN and Bahrain.
The celebration of the 52nd ASEAN Day in Bahrain concluded with breakfast reception featuring ASEAN delicacy and cuisines, including Filipino favorites fish escabeche and camaron rebosado prepared by the Embassy. END
