PH Embassy in Dhaka Donates Books to Filipiniana Section of American International University

The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka donated several Philippine publications to the library of the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) to form part of its Filipiniana section’s collection, which was inaugurated on 27 August 2019. The AIUB is a leading private university in Bangladesh.

 During the handover ceremony before AIUB faculty and administrators, Ambassador to Bangladesh Vicente Vivencio T. Bandillo (center) underscored the Philippines’ commitment to further people-to-people understanding between the two countries, and hoped that the books would stir greater interest in the Philippines among Bangladesh faculty and students.
