2019 Miss Filipina Int’l, Miss Filipina Teen Int’l Queens Call on Consul General to Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES 17 September 2019 — Winners of the recently-concluded 2019 Miss Filipina International and Miss Filipina Teen International called on Consul General to Los Angeles Adelio Angelito S. Cruz on 16 August 2019. 

The pageants, which are on their seventh year, are being organized every July in Los Angeles by the Insider Entertainment Group (IEG), LLC, in partnership with the Department of Tourism and The Filipino Channel.  The pageant’s main advocacy is Philippine tourism promotion.

During the call, Consul General Cruz was briefed on the forthcoming trip of the title holders to the Philippines to deepen their knowledge about the country and prepare them to become Filipino ambassadors of goodwill.

The Consul General congratulated the beauties and reminded them to always embody the best of Filipino values and be proud of their cultural roots. END
