PH Consulate General in Macau Holds Post Arrival Orientation Seminar

MACAU 17 September 2019 — The Philippine Consulate General in Macau, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), and other attached agencies held a Post Arrival Orientation Seminar (PAOS) on 25 August 2019.
A total of 55 Filipino workers attended the seminar where information on basic services and reminders on working in Macau were provided.
POLO discussed its functions and reviewed the basic provisions of the Labor Contract for the benefit of the Filipino workers. They also gave tips on how to make their stay in Macau safe and worthwhile. The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) likewise gave a briefing on the various programs and services that the Filipinos can avail of.
PAG-IBIG and Social Security System also presented their various programs and services.
The Filipinos raised queries on creating a Balik Manggagawa (BM) online account, OWWA membership, scholarship program, reintegration and on PAG-IBIG contributions. END
