PH Consulate General in Los Angeles, FilCom Celebrate the Success of Multi-awarded Fil-Am Chef

LOS ANGELES 17 September 2019 — The Philippine Consulate General joined the Filipino-American community in celebrating the success of Filipino-American chef Ross Pangilinan who has garnered several recognitions in the realm of culinary arts on 22 August 2019 at Terrace by Mix Mix.

His restaurants have received Orange County’s 19, Hottest Restaurants 2019 (Easter LA); Chef of the Year 2019 (Orange County and Business Journal); Bib Gourmand List (Michelin 2019); Best New Restaurants 2019 (Orange Coast Magazine); 10 Most Exciting New Restaurants 2019 (Modern Luxury Orange County)

South Coast Plaza, one of the largest shopping malls in the West Coast, hosted a reception to honor Mr. Pangilinan, and his newly opened restaurant in South Coast Plaza. Deputy Consul General Ambrosio Brian F. Enciso III attended the event to personally congratulate the rising star.

The Filipino chef is known for his innovative fusion dishes, undauntedly combining Filipino and European palates. He opened Mix Mix Kitchen Bar in Santa Ana, California and Terrace by Mix Mix at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California. END
