 PH Embassy in Athens Conducts Consular Outreach Mission in Cyprus

ATHENS 20 September 2019 – The Philippine Embassy in Athens conducted its fifth Consular Outreach Mission in Cyprus on 07 to 08 September 2019 at the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Nicosia.

The consular outreach team was led by the Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Rosario P. Lemque and includes Labor Attaché Melchor B. Dizon, and Pag-IBIG Representative Jean V. Santos.

Aside from passport applications, the team also processed applications for civil registry, reacquisition of Philippine citizenship, verification of contracts, renewals of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) memberships, and applications for Pag-IBIG contributions.

The mission was successfully conducted with the support and cooperation of the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Nicosia led by Consul Shemaine A. Bushnell-Kyriakides, Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), Pag-IBIG Representative Office in Athens, and the Filipino Community in Cyprus. END
