PH Consul General Joins Aid To Humanity U.S. Community Outreach Tour

ILLINOIS 20 September 2019 — Philippine Consul General to Chicago Gina A. Jamoralin joins the Felix Y. Manalo (FYM) Foundation, Inc. Aid To Humanity U.S. Community Outreach held at Rockford, Illinois on 25 August 2019.
In her message, Consul General Jamoralin acknowledged the FYM Foundation for showing the Filipinos’ generous and humane spirit in helping the less fortunate, and that the community in Rockford, Illinois is fortunate to be one of the Foundation’s beneficiaries.
The highlight of the event was the awarding and recognition of 10 local organizations that received monetary donations and 1,000 free back-to-school bags filled with school supplies and winter clothes for Rockford-based families.
Rockford is the ninth and the final stop in the Aid To Humanity U.S tour of the FYM Foundation this August, as part of its global aim to provide opportunity for those most in need and contribute to supporting peaceful and productive communities.
FYM Foundation, Inc. is a socio-civic platform of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. Earlier this year, the Aid To Humanity event series toured Canada and assisted 36 local organizations. Other current projects include eco-farming in Africa, distribution of basic supplies to residents of favelas in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and relief aid during the hurricanes and earthquakes in the Philippines and other disaster-stricken areas.
