Filipino Entrepreneur Finds Success in Popular Café in Brisbane

In 2014 and 2015, Dovetail on Overend was listed by Beanhunter in the Top 10 Cafes in Australia. The cafe has been featured in numerous publications (newspapers, magazines), on TV, and the internet.

Ms. Thompson has incorporated a Filipino twist in her breakfast menu and gluten-free desserts. The Adobo Bowl is now a regular part of Dovetail’s menu after popular demand. She is passionate in raising awareness for Coeliacs. The Filipino pastry chef was one of the Filipino-Australian women featured by the Embassy during National Women’s Month in March 2019.
