PH Embassy in Dhaka Launches “Philippines’er Lokokahini” Book

DHAKA 30 September 2019 — The Philippine Embassy in Dhaka led the launching ceremony of “Philippines’er Lokokahini (Philippines’ Folk Tale)” held at Hotel Ascott Palace on 14 September 2019.

The Philippines’er Lokokahini is a Bengali-translated book of Philippine folk tales written and translated by Diplomatic Spouses Chief Executive Officer Ivan Gomez in coordination with Banglaprakash Publisher Managing Director Ehsaan Mahboob.

The program was attended by Heads of Missions and Members of Diplomatic Corps and representatives of Filipino and Bangladesh organizations. The event included singing of folk songs and reading of passages from the book involving members of the Embassy and the Filipino community. END
