PH Embassy in Phnom Penh Conducts Consular Outreach to Filipinos in Sihanoukville

PHNOM PENH 30 September 2019 – The Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh served a total of 60 Filipinos and rendered 70 consular services during its annual mobile outreach in Sihanoukville on 14-15 September 2019.
Filipinos who availed of the mobile outreach were able to save time and money from traveling to Phnom Penh. “Maganda ang assistance na ibinigay sa amin. (The assistance given to us were good),” one of the Filipino clients said.
The Office of the Defense and Armed Forces Attaché of the Philippines in Cambodia also held two orientation/briefings on 14 and 15 September 2019 for members of the Filipino community in Sihanoukville concerning the Communist Terrorist Groups in the Philippines.
Sihanoukville is six hours away by land travel from Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital. END
