SINGAPORE 20 September 2019 — Contemporary and internationally-acclaimed Filipino artists Rosscapili, Larry Calderon, Allain Hablo, and Gus Albor showcased their artworks in the second exhibition of Art Trek 13, entitled “Archipelago” held at Miaja Gallery on 4 September 2019.
According to Miaja Design Group, “Archipelago” does not only pertain to the Philippines as a scattered group of islands with the same body of water but also an analogy in “uniting a group of disparate objects into a single whole with the help of a common foundation or idea.”
During the exhibit, Miaja Design studio was transformed into a workflow of art masterpieces which brought art and design together.
This is the second year Miaja Gallery participated in the Art Trek. Miaja provides hospitality design solutions for luxury brand hotels and resorts in different countries, including the Philippines.
Now in its 13th year, Art Trek is the centerpiece of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore’s cultural diplomacy program. END
