PH Consulate General in Dubai Hosts Gathering of Filipino Artists

The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai hosted “Salu-salo at Pagpupulong ng Artistang Pilipino (Get-together and Assembly of Filipino Artist)” on 02 August 2019 at the Consulate General to provide an avenue for Filipino artists of various art forms (painters, performers, visual artists, media content artists, film/theatre directors and writers, among others) based in Dubai and Northern Emirates to celebrate the world-class talents of Filipinos.  It was also a way for the Consulate General to promote community-building and collaboration among the artists.

The Consulate General also tapped non-profit organization Para sa Sining to conduct a workshop during the gathering to explore the potential collaboration of artists for the proposed “Pangarap Arts festival” to be held sometime in December. (Dubai PCG photo)
