ASEAN Embassies Hold Briefing for Greek Businessmen

ATHENS 15 October 2019 — The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Committee in Athens (ACAT) composed of the four ASEAN diplomatic missions in Athens, namely the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Viet Nam briefed the members of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) on 18 September 2019.

The joint event “Discover Southeast Asia” was undertaken by the ACAT, SEV and Enterprise Greece, and participated in by over a hundred Greek businesspersons, government officials, and representatives from the four ASEAN embassies, who gave insights on the business prospects in Southeast Asia. 

Greek businesspersons also gave their insights on how to successfully do business in Southeast Asia region.

During the event, SEV announced their plans to visit the Philippines, Malaysia and Hong Kong in February 2020.  It has already sent business missions to Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Viet Nam in recent years. END
