PH Consulate General in Los Angeles Conducts Consular Outreach in Chandler, Arizona

LOS ANGELES 16 October 2019 – The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles, led by Vice Consul Rainier J. Casis, conducted a consular outreach mission to Chandler, Arizona on 21-22 September 2019.

The Mission was undertaken in cooperation with the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Arizona (PACCA), headed by its President, Ms. Mary Jane Barjose, as well as the Filipino American Journal, led by its Publisher, Mr. Leonardo O. Aromin.

This is the first outreach mission wherein the Consulate General was able to provide services from the Social Security System-Los Angeles (SSS-LA) and the Philippine Overseas Labor Office-Los Angeles (POLO-LA) through their representatives based in Los Angeles.

A total of 299 consular services were rendered during the two-day mission, comprising of 63 dual citizenships, four derivatives, 199 passport renewal, two amendment/extension, 19 civil registry, and 12 legalization of documents.

The Mobile Team was composed of Mr. Cesar P. Cruz, Ms. Judelyn M. Cuaresma, Mr. Joselito B. Blas, Mr. Fernan M. Balicoco, Ms. Rosette T. Estrella and Mr. Edgardo C. Lim. Also part of the team are Labor Attaché Ms. Armi Evangel N. Peña, POLO-LA administrative staff Mr. Miguel Ignacio Maria Castriciones and SSS-LA Representative Anna Lee De Leon.

This mission, the 10th conducted by the Consulate General for 2019, is part of the Philippine Government’s efforts to bring its various services closer to its constituents.  END
