Foreign Affairs Secretary Locsin Attends the Inauguration of President Widodo

JAKARTA 21 October 2019 – Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin Jr., as Special Envoy of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, attended the inauguration of Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Vice President Ma’ruf Amin, at a ceremony held on 20 October 2019, in Jakarta.

Foreign Affairs Secretary Locsin, following the inauguration ceremony, called on President Joko Widodo at the Merdeka Palace. The Secretary personally delivered a letter from President Rodrigo Roa Duterte felicitating President Joko Widodo on his second term, from 2019 to 2024.

Madame Maria Lourdes B. Locsin and Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Leehiong T. Wee comprised the Philippine delegation to the inauguration. END
