SINGAPORE 14 October 2019 — The Philippine Embassy in Singapore and Momentous Arts Gallery successfully opened the fourth exhibit of Art Trek 13 this year entitled, “Beauty and Youth Side B,” in a pop-art gallery at Tanglin Mall on 17 September 2019.
Curator Allan Teo brought the strong urban vibe ambiance of Manila as the artworks of contemporary Filipino artists Jan Calleja, Janos dela Cruz, Beejay Esber, Pete Jimenez, Raul Jorola, Marilou Solano, and Stephen Taneo were featured in the exhibit.
The quirky and interesting art pieces which included paintings, sculptures, and collectible art toys drew the attention of art aficionados.
Art Trek, which is now on its 13th year, is the core of the Embassy’s cultural diplomacy program. It aims to showcase and promote Philippine Art through collaborations with several art galleries in Singapore. END
