PH Embassy in Yangon Conducts First Aid Training Workshop

YANGON 24 October 2019 — The Philippine Embassy in Yangon organized a two-day Basic First Aid lecture and training workshop on 07-08 October 2019 for Embassy personnel conducted by the Myanmar Red Cross Society.
Myanmar Red Cross Society representative Tun Lwin Oo discussed different types of first aid applications suited in various situations where the victim suffers from different types of injuries, such as bleeding, fractured bones, burns, choking, or is unconscious, or not breathing.
Embassy personnel also participated in practical exercises supervised by Tun Lwin Oo. In addition, the women were taught techniques on how to deal with and apply first aid to victims who are extremely heavy and of bigger size.
The participants were also taught how to give a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). END
