PH Embassy in Oslo Conducts Information Briefing to FilCom

PHOTO: The Philippine Embassy in Oslo conducted an information briefing on the Embassy’s services and legal assistance for the Filipino community in Kristiansand on 28 September 2019.

The Embassy had an engaging dialogue with members of the Filipino community which included health professionals, au pairs, and Filipino women married to Norwegians. Aside from informing and addressing the concerns of the community, the Embassy also learned about the different stories and challenges shared by the Filipinos in Kristiansand who have considered Norway their second home.

Aside from the briefing session, Deputy Chief of Mission and Consul General Maria Elena Algabre, Third Secretary and Vice Consul Christiansen Cabahug, and the Filipino community members in Kristiansand also exchanged stories about the experiences of overseas Filipinos in Norway. (Oslo PE photo)
