JEDDAH 27 September 2019 — Several Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Jeddah completed their vocational training and received their certificates on massage therapy and reflexology, hair and beauty culture, and tailoring on 06 September 2019.

The graduates, who hold regular jobs, underwent three months of training conducted by Kapit-Bisig OFW, a Jeddah-based Filipino community group.

Consul General Edgar B. Badajos commended the graduates for using their rest days to acquire additional vocational skills. He likewise urged them to save money and use it as capital to set up their own businesses back in the Philippines.

“Rather than being workers forever, you have to think big; once you have your own capital, go back to the Philippines and set up your own spa, salons, and tailor shops there. Be entrepreneurs!” Consul General Badajos encouraged the graduates. END
